Delete your Deewar Studio account
This page applies to accounts on deewarstudio.com and the Deewar Studio app (Google Play / App Store), operated by 5GENTECH, Amritsar. You can request deletion at any time; you do not need the app installed.
How to request deletion
- From your registered mobile number, send the message “Delete my Deewar Studio account” on WhatsApp to +91 98880 78766, or email hi@5gentech.com stating the mobile number on the account.
- We confirm the request with a one-time code sent to that number, so nobody else can delete your account.
- Deletion is completed within 7 days and you receive a confirmation message. Signing in again after that creates a new, empty account.
What is deleted
Your profile (name, email, mobile number), saved addresses, favourites, cart, push-notification tokens, and the link between you and any past orders. Sign-in codes expire within 10 minutes on their own.
What we keep, and for how long
Invoices and order records for orders you placed are retained for 8 years as required by Indian tax law (GST and Income-tax rules), with your personal details reduced to what the invoice legally requires. Payment records stay with Razorpay under their policy; we hold only the payment reference. Server logs are deleted automatically after 90 days. Artist and designer payout records (PAN, bank account, invoices) are kept for the same 8-year period.
Deleting data without closing the account
You can remove saved addresses and edit your name or email in Account, turn off notifications in your phone settings, and withdraw location permission at any time without deleting the account.
