Privacy policy
Effective 14 October 2026. This policy covers deewarstudio.com and the Deewar Studio mobile app, operated by 5GENTECH (Jobandeep Singh), 5, Oakwood Lane, Palm Grove, Airport Road, Amritsar 143101, Punjab, India (“Deewar Studio”, “we”).
What we collect
Account: your mobile number (verified by one-time password) and, if you give it, your name and email address.
Orders: delivery name, address, phone number, email, the items you order and your payment status. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay’s secure page and are never stored by us; Razorpay shares only a payment reference with us.
Location (app, optional): if you tap “Use my current location”, the app reads your device location once to fill in your delivery address. It is sent to our server only to look up the address and is not stored. You can type your address instead and never grant the permission.
Device and usage: standard server logs (IP address, device type, pages or screens viewed) kept for up to 90 days for security and performance, and a push-notification token if you allow notifications.
Artists and designers: if you apply to sell or list a studio we also collect the business details, portfolio, PAN and bank account you provide for payouts and invoicing.
How we use it
To make, deliver and support your orders; to send order updates by SMS, WhatsApp, email or app notification; to verify your identity at sign-in; to pay artists and designers; to prevent fraud; and to comply with Indian tax and consumer law. We send marketing messages only if you opt in, and every message has a way to opt out.
Who we share it with
Only the services needed to run the store: Razorpay (payments), MSG91 (OTP SMS), Meta WhatsApp Business (order updates), our courier partners (delivery name, address and phone), Expo (push notifications), OpenStreetMap and India Post (address lookup — coordinates or pincode only, never your name), and our hosting provider. We do not sell personal data. We disclose data to authorities only when required by law.
Retention
Order and invoice records are kept for 8 years as required by Indian tax law. Account data is kept until you delete your account. OTP codes expire within 10 minutes. Server logs are deleted after 90 days.
Your choices
You can view and edit your details in Account, remove saved addresses, turn off notifications in your phone settings, and withdraw location permission at any time. To delete your account and personal data, follow the steps on our Delete account page (WhatsApp +91 98880 78766 or email hi@5gentech.com from your registered number); we complete deletion within 7 days, except records we must keep by law.
Security
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS). Sessions are stored as random tokens, OTPs are rate-limited and locked after repeated failures, and access to customer data is limited to staff who need it to fulfil orders.
Children
Our services are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
